When Jesus Passes By

Series: 2021 Stand-Alone Sermons

Summary

In Luke 18:35-43, Jesus is making his way to Jericho for the last time. He is only a few days from the cross and is making his way through Jericho with a large crowd surrounding him. Along the way, he hears the cries of a blind beggar, has compassion on him, and restores his sight. When Jesus passes by, it doesn’t matter how large or loud the crowd, he still hears the cries of those in need, and has compassion on them. When Jesus passes by, it doesn’t matter how disastrous the circumstances or how devastating the situation, everything changes when Jesus comes on the scene.
