Then I Looked and There Before Me was the Lamb
Series: Holy Week Revival
Summary
Love requires a challenge. The tree in the Garden of Eden served as a boundary or as a challenge. In God's perfect plan man was given free will and a choice to make. As Adam and Eve hid in the garden, we too hide from God when we sin. Our culture tells us not to accept responsibility and to blame others. When Adam and Eve realized what they had done and felt the guilt and shame, God covered them with animal skins. Something innocent had to die to cover their nakedness. We like Adam and Eve have to have our sin covered. God made a way for our sins to be totally erased by the shedding of blood of an innocent Lamb, Jesus.
