Power and Value in a Clay Pot

Paul is under attack by false teachers to ruin his name and reputation in the church at Corinth.  They wanted to teach false doctrine among the people, but first had to discredit Paul.  Paul’s response to their attacks, “I’m an earthen vessel”, or in other words, “I’m a clay pot.”  Many things you say about me are true, I’m weak, a poor speaker, not much to look at or listen to, but I have a treasure inside me.  How can Christians today fight against the attacks of the world?  Follow Paul’s example finding power and value in a clay pot.
