Pray For Our Community and Storm Recovery
Hey Valley Forge. Please join us as we pray for those in our community and surrounding area affected by the flooding.
There is currently no phone or internet service around the church and Elizabethton but there will be people there today cleaning up around the church and helping with needs of people who suffered significant loss in our church family. The Forge currently has electricity and will be open throughout the day (Saturday).
A COMMUNITY PRAYER SERVICE is tentatively planned for tomorrow morning, Sunday, September 29 at 10:45am in The Forge. There will be no Sunday School, Evening Service. Parking will be very limited since the lower riverside parking area was significantly damaged and will be closed. We encourage parking at Valley Forge Elementary, carpooling, and shuttle from the Fellowship Hall on Garrison Hollow.
Above all, please pray for God to comfort and help so many who are hurting in our church and community as well as all of those who are working around the clock to rebuild and restore. There is always Hope in Jesus!
